A picturesque hamlet and the most scenic spot in Kumaon, Binsar is located at a height of approx. 2,420 m in the Almora district, which was the summer capital of erstwhile Chand kings of Kummaon. Binsar offers a magnificent view of Himalaya peaks, covered with white snow.
