Mansa Devi Temple is located atop a mound namely Bilwa Parvat of the Shivalik Range of Himalayas, which is dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi.
The word ‘Mansa’ means the ‘wish’ and it is believed that if any devotee tie a piece of thread on the boughs of the tree which is located in the temple complex, the Maa Mansa Devi fulfills his wishes. And once the wish gets fulfilled, devotee has to come back to the temple to untie the thread. Mansa Devi temple is one of the Siddhpithas. There are two idols of Devi installed inside the temple premises, one is Devi with eight arms and the other is Devi with three heads and five arms.
