Kedarnath Temple is considered to be one of the divine temples in Hindu religion as it is the highest Jyotirling (Cosmic Light) amongst the 12 Jyotirlingas. It is dedicated to the deity Shiva and is located near the River Mandakini in Kedarnath. The cradle of the temple ages back to the Mahabharatha when the Pandavas built the temple to pardon themselves from the sin of the killings of their own cousins, they committed during the period of Mahabharatha war. The mesmerizing architecture of the temple and the sculpted idols of various different Hindu immortals inside the temple are unique and attract thousands of visitors.
