Jhulaghat is located at the Indo-Nepal border and approximately 36 kilometers away from Pithoragarh. The cool climate of the town attracts the tourists during winter seasons to witness the amazing views of the valley.
Another major attraction of the town is The Kali River that flows through the town and has become the spot for river rafting. The river creates international boundaries of India and Nepal. Both the countries are connected by a small suspension bridge on the river Kali, thus, the bridge has become an entry point for the people of both the countries. Therefore, there is a customs check-point for goods, is situated here.
