The Ralam Glacier is one of the major Himalayan glaciers, which is situated at a height of approximately 2,300 meters above sea level. Its popular trek routes attract may tourists to reach here each year.  The maximum height of the trek is 3,900 meters above sea level which can be trekked in 8-10 days.
The glacier is situated in Munsiyari of Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhnd which is approx. 200 km away from Almora, from Nainital it is a 262 km away and 280 kms away from Kathgodam railway station.  The trek is a beautiful but difficult a 50km trek from road. The main attractions of the trek are villages namely ralam and paton, glaciers namely Damfu Bigyal and Ralam.  Three glaciers meet in the Ralam glacier, which are Kalabaland, Sutela and Yangchar.
