RISHIKESH, an assortment of serenity and escapade, its location at the convergence of River Ganges and Chandrabhaga with views of impressive hills and various adventurous activities such as trekking, rafting and camping fascinate nature lovers.  It is a small town in the northern state of Uttarakhand, India.
It is also the gateway or entrance to the famously known Valley of Flowers and Char Dham Yagra.  The place is known as a spiritual place, situated 24 kilometres away from Haridwar.  The whole area is considered sacred because of the presence of some temples, river Ganges, meditation centres (meditation is believed to be considered as the way to the salvation), ashrams of sadhu etc.
Rishikesh is also considered to be the “Adventure Capital of India” for the adventure related activities like river rafting, trekking, camping etc. Also, as per the law, it is a vegetarian and Alcohol Free city.
