Rudreshwar Mahadev Temple is amongst the primordial temples in Uttarakhand. The temple is situated near the bank of the river Ram Ganga near the Masi, in the Sanena village, Almora, Uttarakhand, India.
The temple is so famous for its religious serene that many gurus of Uttarakhand turned their footfall towards the temple for meditation which includes Mahant Balwant Giri Maharaj and Mahant Mohan Giri Maharaj. In the current period also, there are many devotees / sadhus come here for their meditation.
Inside the temple, there are other small temples of Lord Shiva, Hanuman and Maa Durga etc. The temple also has the idols of Shiv parivar, Ram Darbar and Radha-Krishna etc. There is a picture of the old time temple is also present inside the temple.
The overall natural and picturesque view of the temple contains the trees of Banyan, Peepal, Mango and multiple flower plants. The temple has an excellent view of river Ram Ganga from the hall.
Every year, a fair is organised on the day of the Mahashivratri.
